    Bianca is an award-winning freelance science journalist and author based in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, Australia. In more than a decade of freelance reporting, her work has appeared in outlets including Nature, The Atlantic, Wired UK, The Guardian, Undark, The Scientist, MIT Technology Review, the BMJ, Australian Geographic, Scientific American, the ABC, and BBC. She is author of Climate Change: How We Can Get To Carbon Zero, The End: The Human Experience Of Death, editor of the 2019 and 2015 Best Australian Science Writing anthologies, and co-author of The Sixth Wave: How To Succeed In A Resource-Limited World. Bianca is also founding president of the Science Journalists Association of Australia.
